Picked up the 360 Harmony remote for the 360.. it's down to 100 bucks at eb and is well worth it unlike the 250 bucks it started out at. You can control just about everything from all your av get to air conditioner. Really a 10/10 as a product even if it does take a while to set up.

I had one... it sucked... sold it on ebay :)

The idea of it is great, but it never works 100% so you constantly have to do more effort then just using seperate remotes

That is pretty cheap, just had a look on staticice and the cheapest is $104. Is this an EB catalogue special?

Nah and it had $149 sticker still on it but it the guy behind the counter told me it was 100 when i wanted to have a look at it. ... It has taken me an hour and half to set it up but works perfectly and my system is a a real mix of components including stuff like a joytech av centre and are even have a aussie brand set top box. Works with foxtel well even for the tv guides etc. I'm sure there is 1 or 2 buttons I will come across that will not work instantly but they can be programed through pc or direct from the old remote. So far 100% success for me.

I've always been wary of this universal remote stuff as I don't have all one brand of appliance and you'll usually find one thing in your house that won't work with it. Logitech are great though so I'd assume the whole process has been perfected. The best way to put it to the test is to see if my crappy little TV branded as a Princess will be able to be emulated on the remote.

It doesn't need any wi-fi or bluetooth type stuff does it?

Just called EB in perth and they confirmed the $99.95 price. I will be picking up one of these today with a trade-in of FarCry for $64 and pay the difference, to replace the 5 different remotes I use atm.

This is a learning remote aswell, so as long as you have the old remote you can program the functions it doesnt recognize manually.
