My 360 turns off my tv

hey guys i need a little help.
I just brought my 360 home from my girlfriends place where i ran it on an SD tv with no probs for about 5 months. I finally took it home and plugged it into my AWA 81cm LCD tv in the component input. Now when i play it, every 5-10 mins my tv turns itself off. When i turn the tv back on I have no sound, sometimes it returns other times it doesn't.:banghead:
Could the wireless controller be interfering with the tv?

Well I play my old xbox on it with no problems, there are no other problems with the dvd or foxtel on it either.

Is the Xbox/DVD/Foxtel through the component? If you can plug another device into the component and the same thing happens you know it's the TV.

I took my 360 and plugged it into my sony 42' 3lcd rear projection tv and have had no problems so far. Must be the component inputs on the tv are shonky. It looks decent on the sony but i prefer the crispness on the LCD. At least I can play it now without it turning off.:thumbsup:

I have no idea honestly but maybe the resolution you have picked on the LCD the tv cant handle it and components in the tv start to over heat and for safety of the tv it shuts the tv down? eg if your running 1080i try changing to 720 p, and vice versa or maybe a Pal 50/60 issue, lol probably has nothing to do with it but worth trying anything, after that stand on one leg for 30 min and whistle the national anthem...ok ive gone to far ;)
