Problems with the 360

I was speaking to my cousin the other day and mentioned that I wanted to get a 360 to which he immediately replied not to and that both his and one of our mates 360's have encountered the same problem. Neither will boot up anymore and the light surrounding the power button flash orange. Now before I fork out a good chunk of cash for a 360 I was just wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem or something similar.

lol, what the hell does an orange light mean anyways. Don't worry bout what they are saying just buy a console from EB and get a 2 year extended warrenty on it so you can get it replaced IF it does ---- up

I've had mine since launch. It does not run hot, never had a single problem with it. This is surprising given that everything I buy is usually f#@ked. I you buy one and it stuffs up Microsofts support is pretty good. Just remember to keep the power pack cool (keep it off the carpet) and keep the console in a well ventilated area. Buy one - they are great.
