wireless controller on pc question.

ok i have the wireless controller for 360, and also have the charge kit for it. I want to use the 360 pad on the pc to play some games that needs to use a pad (If that made sense). anyways my question is.. by putting the charge kit on the pad and hooking it on the pc, will that work? Or do i specificly have to get the wired 360 pad to use it on the comp?

No, the play and charge kit just charges the controllers battery and doesn't actuall make your controller connected to the pc or even the 360. It just charges the battery while the signle transmits to the 360. Later this year MS plans to release an adaptor to allow you to play pc with ya 360 controller

the play and charge kit is just that a charger and can not be used as a remote sensor so plugging that into the pc will not enable you to use it as a controller on the pc, so at the moment you have to buy the wired version of the controller, not sure if its still on the cards at M$ but they were developing a usb multi Wireless Gaming Receiver so that all the new wireless peripherals could be used and that would enable wireless controllers to be used on the pc when the sensor was plugged into your pcs usb

So the wired controller works on a PC? I didnt know that. I was about to buy a new PC pad, but now I might just buy another 360 pad so I can use it on both.

I assume the same goes for the 3rd party 360 controllers?
