Hi all,

As posted in gaming setup, just got this TV and i'm stoked with the quality. On a quick comparison with other LCD's, I found this one to have excellent specs.

Funny, I didn't realise the 360 didn't plug in through HDMI. Highly recommend it, you should be able to find it around $1900.00-$2000.00

Does anyone else have this TV? what are their thoughts?

I'm running it only on 1080i and for a while was wondering why it looked jaggy, then realised the HD cabling was not switched to HD, but to TV.. ROFL

Here's the speccies:

8ms Response Time
HDMI Input
Wide Viewing Angle : 178˚ (H) / 178˚ (V)
New XD Engine
Teletext
Contrast Ratio: 1600:1
Resolution : 1366 x 768p
Brightness: 500cd/m2
Inputs: HDMI, Component, RGB, S-Video, AV, RS-232C

Pic of it running GRAW & my gaming setup (Don't mean to re-post but thought i may as well include the pics here)

I'm confused about HD modes.. what is better? 1080i or 720p???!?!??!

I'm confused about why your sig is absolutely gigantic!? Please reduce the size to the XBW standard of 640x100 ASAP!

As for the TV, I have an LG 37", it's the previous generation to yours, and I honestly can't rave about it except to say it was a decent price at the time. Wish I'd waited six months for this newer range with HD tuners and HDMI inputs.

As for the HD modes, personally I think 720p is better, and that's the best fit given the resolution of your TV. Still, opinions vary on which is better between 720p and 1080i, but for me, going to a HDTV is all about leaving interlacing behind, even if it is twice the scanlines of the old CRT teles of yesteryear.

Thanks for the tips Dom.. Well, I haven't seen the last gen models, but i'm stoked with this one.

Will try 720p, specially if it's suited better to my TV.. cheers!!

Sorry about the sig, you're the first to mention anything to me and i've fixed it immediately :D
