Sound through your PC?

I've got my 360 and my PC hooked up to my Samsung 27inch HDTV.

It looks great for both.

How do I go about hooking the 360 up into the PC though for sound? i.e. my PC has a 7.1 sound card and 5 speakers.

I'd like to use those for the 360 also if possible?

you'd probably have to buy a tv tuner card and plug your 360 into that.

Or you would just have to do a switcharoo and unplug the speakers from your PC and connect them to the 360. I would think you could get some sort of switch for that.

If so, you need one of these

Or you could get something like this for your sound.

Or one of the higher end cards, unless there's another way to get Optical-in on a PC.
What kind of speakers are we talking about here?

thats not going to give him 7.1 surround sound though.

optical in would be the way to go.
