I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure you need a HD TV to enhance Xbox 360 graphics. This means you'll need VGA/component cables

Just get a CMV 19 inch widescreen monitor if you dont have a huge budget. Cost me $275 and looks great.

you cant watch anything HD on a screen that is not HD,
if any one says otherwise then they are stupid
A set top box will let you watch free to air digital tv,you can receive a HD signal and watch it on a black and white TV but it wont be seen in HD because the screen is not capable to produce HD image

Set top boxes are just little boxes that output video siginals, unless they record they dont usually have input, there just for tv reception.

Buy a VGA cable for under $50 and hook up your xbox 360 to the PC monitor if you want much better graphics without forking out thousands for a HDTV.
