ok guys..since i only got my 360 like 3 weeks ago, i was quite surprised when my controllers started conking out when i was playing table tennis.. this only happened during 2 player mode and i couldn't figure out why. So, i called the xbox hotline, and what they suggested was that i send the controllers back and they'll swap new ones for me.(i was honestly touched at their suggestion.)
Then, after sending the controllers back, i realised after reading the forums that the problem might have been due to the fact that my system settings was on PAL-50, and that switching to PAL-60 would have solved the problem. DANG. and then..when i finally got my controllers back, after sacrificing 2 weeks of xbox gold subscription, they only sent 1 back. OMG. 1 controller!?!!!! :cry:
Mind u, i sent both of mine back!!!! man, i was so pissed. and of all things, the guy whom i spoke to when i wanted to address the problem told me that they'll investigate and get back to me. and guess wat, i called them up today and they told me they already investigated and they found that i only sent them 1. WTF!!! i wasn't angry that something might have been lost in the mail, it was more that they didn't get back to me.. in the end, i managed to speak to the supervisor, (who wasn't part of the call centre) and he was able to give me a more satisfactory answer to everything.
So, my advice to everyone is that depend on ur fellow gamers for advice. i'm sure the hotline's great and all, but like everyone, they're prone to major screw ups. ok, enough of my ranting, just needed to get it out of my system. :devious:
