I read some where recently that Quake Wars was coming to the 360 but every time I google for it I can only find speculation and rumours, has this game been confirmed for the 360 or not?

not confirmed but im so hoping it does come to the 360. Huge quake fan and i think its great doing something different with the series other than your average Id run n gun.

If you ask me a Quake Go carting game was called for years ago.

From our Activate Asia article, which had Tim Willits as a guest speaker..

It’s not often you share the room with gaming royalty, and even less common to call the guy out when he discusses how Quake Wars will feature unique “Gamertags.” When pestered by Xbox World Australia on the topic, he admitted that his choice of phrase wasn’t confirmation of an Xbox 360 version in the works, but that the 360 was “proving itself as a online multiplayer platform”, and that its continued success in the online arena makes it pretty likely that we’ll see an Xbox 360 version at some stage.

I had a go kart mod for the original Quake way back in the day, my 486 ran it just well enough to be playable.

"Quake Wars" gives me the feeling it'll be a more teamwork oriented game. I miss the good old FFA Quake 3 Arena days.

Am I the only one who thinks the original Quake is still the best? God I had fun on that thing. The single player rocked but it was the LAN parties we had on the school computers that really kicked ass. It was an awesome game. I was disappointed in Quake 2, never played 3, and 4 was just Doom 3 dressed up.
