hey guys atm i am just totally and utterly frustrated with my 360 its chucking a spaz on certain games some games it works fine others it doesnt argh!:ogre:

The problem i am having atm is on Hitman Blood Money now this is a perfectly fine disk not 1 scratch and i also got it professionaly cleaned to make sure.

Now the problem is i can sometimes get to the objectives screen for stage 3 or even into the start of the level seems to be playing perfectly fine then it just pops up with a disk is un-readable and to tell the truth i would actually rather have the game freeze then come up with this DDE error and then my only option is to press A or B and it takes you back to the dashboard leaving me almost throwing the controller at the tv! is there any way to change the setting for a DDE error? for it NOT to come up

any help is appreciated guys. :banghead:

just makes me feel like asking the guys at hitman to make a stage to assasinate bill gates

No there isn't an option to turn off the DDE message, it sounds like it is a problem with the disc as it keeps happening in the same spot. There may be no scratches/smudges/fingerprints on it, instead it may have been a bad batch of dvds during the manufacturing process (there's always some disks that come out crap, sounds like you got one of them). I suggest you take it back to where you bought it and swap it for another (if you can), otherwise there isnt much you can do :\

Hey, i don't want to hijack this thread, but my question is on a related issue.

When playing Oblivion I am experiencing some major hanging/freezing when selecting the inventories screen (or when opening a cupboard, searching a body etc). What's up with this? Is it a universal issue for everyone or is it a problem with my box.

It would seem like there is very little that needs to be loaded for these screens, certainly not enough to justify length of the delay.

It didn't want to post this in the Oblivion thread because of all the spoilers in there.

Thanks

Clear your cAche by holding A or B (can't remember) as the game just boots up
