Gamer Card/Achievements

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone knew of any way to fix my problem.

I started out with XBOX 360 and played a couple of games and scored a few achievements when i activated my gold membership trial i lost achievements and my gamer score and some of my saves were incognito for a while.

On the weekend after playing for a while without live and getting a few more achievements and a highe gamer score when getting back on to live i have lost alot of these achievements again.

My question is, is there anyway to recover this info or is it just too bad so sad.

I called xbox support in bangalore.... there was just too much of a language gap to try and explain it with them

Any help or a flat out no would be helpful

When you activated the Gold Trial, did you do so with the gamertag you had been playing offline with, or create a new one?

It sounds to me like you are using 2 different profiles.

I used the recover gametag? as it wouldnt sign into live otherwise i think this may have caused the problem.

I think the recover gamertag is meant more for a gamertag you used on a different 360, or transferring your account from an original Xbox.
I'm pretty sure there should have been a 'Join Xbox Live' option there...

When you start up your console, before it signs in, how many profiles does it say there are on your console(should appear in the same window that later becomes your gamercard)?

you have more than profile on your 360, get rid of the one (or ones) that isn't (or aren't) associated with xboxlive account thus your gamertag
