I've visited several forums and they all seem to list different TCP and UDP port numbers you need to use. I've got a Belkin ADSL2 Modem/Router that has excellent easy to setup Port Forwarding. However I've entered so many for the XBox360 I've used em all up and I'm sure I don't need that many. Could someone please tell me the essential ones I need. It is working I have full NAT open but I know I don't need half of the ones I've put in. Thanks in advance

Network Address Translation.
You can either put your 360 into the DMZ or open the ports. Look at your Router manual. DMZ is the way to go in my opinion.

same question as the previous poster.
Please explain TCP and UDP. I have those numbers 3074 and 88 in my router settings enabled under port forwarding but don't see any TCP or UDP?
UDP: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Datagram_Protocol
TCP: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transmission_Control_Protocol
Sumi, what modem are you using?
