I assume not, since they are different formats after all. I am no expert but I would assume youwould either need a mod chip or an imported NTSC X Box.

It might be possible with a soft mod, try google.

No need to google, THIS (http://www.xboxworld.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=28489) topic is a guide to softmod a xbox.

OK here is what I know as fact, from personal experience.

Phantom Dust does NOT work.

Iron Phoenix DOES work

MK Deception does NOT work, yet, the extra bonus disc with MK1 DOES work.

If it sounds a little hit and miss, well, it kinda is.

phantom dust is the best action and strategy game on xbox,

with over 300 of skills to collect and more than 300 missions on single player mode

i imported NTSC version as well, recommend to everyone

That guide only changes the output, not the region lock.

I was working on a modified version of the save files a few years back, that loaded a eeprom editor to change region lockings instead of the video output app, but ditched it as I didn't have the time then.

Guys the save that enables HD Modes on a Pal Xbox is not a softmod...those are different ;)

Anyways, Rockman is right there is a app similar to the app that enables the HD modes that can switch your xbox to NTSC so that you can play NTSC games on your xbox but then you will not be able to play your Pal games unless you switch back over.

If you guys want I can organzie another save stage for this purpose but I will first check with Shane to make sure it is alright...

The biggest prob I can see with it, is that it has some very sensitive settings, which could screw up your console and/or get you banned from LiVE.

over it now, Phaton dust has been stated for release @ Xmas in Australia, Dont think I will be getting it, its a shame as its sounds like a good game.

But I'll Have XBox 360 plus UT2007 on PC by Xmas, :chortle:

Thats not necessarily the case. Its pretty much the same as the HD Modes settings, which alter the eeprom of the xbox. Additionally, I haven't heard of anyone getting banned for changing their region settings :)

I am working on the save etc right now and once I have done that I will write up a quick guide and let Shane check it out so he can give it the go ahead...

Also, why was Phantom Dust delayed in Australia? Its been out for ages in the states and it shouldn't take long to change the region settings....

It's not the region changing I'm talking about, I know you can still use LiVE after doing so. What worries me is people accidently erasing their HDD serial number or forgetting to re-lock them after changing the region number.
