Light gun and DLP projector?

Is there an xbox light gun that will work on a dlp front projection system? Or do I have to switch back to the 34cm tv and drag my chair 3 meters forward?

I went on a quest to get this working also except I'm using and LCD projector. The same apply's though. First I was told I need a 100mhz litegun to start with. The older ones only work with the reflection on the glass or something.

I'm still yet to find a 100mhz litegun...

Sorry dude, Lightgun games are a dying breed due to technology constraints. They only work with CRT TV's. I feel your pain. :(

Hey Dudes I have news for you both.

I bought a RGT G1 Wireless Light Gun (100 Hz+) for PS2 and Xbox and it can be used on any TV, projector TV, Plasma and LCD (Tested all these) and I have been told it also works with DLP and LCD projectors.

It comes from the same family of Tecnology as headtracker and works by using a receiver mounted on top of the screen source. It is very accurate once it is calibatred and in fact it is more accurate than the old light guns. Its is cordless becuase it does not need as much power as a light gun.

I use it on a 50 inch plasma screen.

Only drawback is that the bigger the screen the further back you have to stand or it does loose accuracy.

Go get one.
